I love your quotes, they are all very true. It sounds like you have decided to stay home and enjoy being a mom. Good for you. I was also lucky enough to be able to be home with my sons while they grew up. We certainly would have had a lot more money if I were working full time, but it was important to us to have me there with them. They grow up in the blink of an eye and I didn’t want to miss anything. My sons are grown now, one is 28 and one is 18 (almost). He is a senior this year in high school, the other is married. I wouldn’t change being at home with my kids for anything. Those are times you can’t replace. Their childhoods were so fast but I really feel that I absorbed every second of them. I agree with the quote about the grand parents being with the children too. We are lucky enough to have my parents live in the same house as us . Two years ago we bought this house(it’s a two family) so I could help them more, which makes my life easier and less stressful knowing I am right upstairs if they need me. It is a privelege to be there to help them as they get older and need a hand with things. I think my sons have learned so much having them be a large part of their lives. Sometimes it isn’t easy but I am sure there were times that we(their children) weren’t easy either.
Well, now that I have shared my “expert” opinion on life I will also say that your garden looks wonderful! Thank you for all your kind comments on my posts.
