Here is my entry for green thumb Sunday this week.

The plants in my garden, most of them I bought from Lowes clearance. To me it is a good idea than spending a lot of money on each plant and it works well for my low budget garden. The downside is you may not see the flowers immediately or some of them will bloom only in next season. This includes the roses too. So far the roses were doing fine. I have more hybrid tea roses than old style roses. But I love the old style english roses after seeing one of the English Roses in my garden, David’s Getrude gekyll. This is highly fragrant and so far no diseases and wonderful bloom this year.

Also many plants I bought in fall when the shops were trying to clear the inventory.
